Yes, I know I was supposed to give a spiel about my background and bring you up to speed about my life, but that will come soon enough. I just wanted to share how my night went last night.
Well I was invited to a birthday party last night, beach themed, which is perfect since it was in the middle of winter. Before the party I stopped by a friends (lets call him B1) place to pregame, where he gave me a tour around his suite and introduced me to his friends on the floors above and below his complex. It was during this time I met a girl that my roommate from freshman year of college slept with the first weekend we were here. I'm not sure what happened between the both of them but things were peachy. Regardless, she was more attractive than I remembered her last, and we had a nice conversation about dorm life and the perils of possibly working in leadership positions in college for a few minutes, all while my friend went to get dressed in summer attire.
Afterwards, we proceeded to go to the marketplace adjacent to his complex to get chasers like lemonade and orange juice. It's always an interesting experience to go there, because my most recent ex-girlfriend is there with her new boyfriend (Lets call him Bubba for future reference) a few nights a week. I can never know for sure that they're there until I open the double doors of the hallway leading up to the market dinning area. I always manage to make instant eye contact with the people I either don't want to see when I see them, or someone beautiful. More about her in another post. She wasn't there so I went about my business to buy a Chocolate-chip cookie for $1.89. Another friend (B2) tagged along with his girlfriend (who apparently "wasn't rude, but wasn't nice") as we left the marketplace. We went back to the complex, mixed drinks, and blasted some Mark Ronson, and Beyonce. It was then the Birthday Girl sent us a Snapchat saying to get our asses over there. We were an hour late because we were waiting on another friend (lets call her G1). I forgot to mention that this whole time I was with two other girls as well (G2, and G3).
Our trip down town was fairly quick, catching a bus and then walking in heavy snow for about fifteen minutes. It's surreal to see Vermont covered in a fresh white blanket, when you've got a drunk blanket plus a winter jacket and sweats, all over your borrowed Hawaiian shirt and blue chubbies. Entering the back door I was greeted by Birthday Girl and her roommates, all dressed to impressed in their glamorous beachwear. It was a little disappointing that not everyone was dressed up, about half the people were, but regardless the music was great and everyone was very sociable. I'm still working on being more sociable.
And then came the margarita bowl. Lemme clarify that I'm pretty much reliving my freshman year experience, I don't usually drink or smoke, but these past two semesters in college have been an exception (more about that later). I don't know what Birthday Girl was saying with the margarita mix being gross, I personally thought it was delicious and very tangy/sweet. I loved it, maybe a little too much, but all I remember was dancing for a little bit, sitting down and talking to a cute girl who I was trying to flirt with. Turns out that she had a girlfriend (which was my assumption because she started talking intently to said girlfriend and then gave her a passionate kiss, and then proceeded in a short make-out session. Me: 0, Girls: 1.
It was getting late, maybe 12:45AM or so and I collected my things with B2, B2's Girlfriend, and G2. B2's girlfriend said she already called a driver using Uber. I've never used Uber, yet alone called for a Taxi service that late before, but I remained calm although my parents ranted about how potentially creepy and dangerous the app could be a few months back. The driver was in a big white SUV, seemed like a nice guy, but spoke little English. He drove us back to campus in silence for the most part, which let me experience the joys of listening to a conversation between B2 and his girlfriend about him not wanting to walk her home. I wasn't sober enough to decipher whether he was being sarcastic, or arguing with her. I'm gonna go with sarcastic.
After getting dropped off, I was surprised that the ride has already been paid for by B2's girlfriend through the same app, so I conclude that Uber is pretty sweet, I'd definitely use it again in the future. From there we all parted ways and I ran and caught a late-night bus just in time to ride it back around campus to my dormitory. When I was almost home I texted a friend (G4), who then told me to come hang out at her place next door. All my old floormates from freshman year were there apparently, so I was very excited! Best part was as I walked in, they were just ordering a bunch of chicken wings from a local place called WingsOver. I pitched in five dollars and within a half hour we were all devouring some incredibly spicy chicken wings. If I had been sober the heat would've killed my tongue.
And right afterwards is where my stay there ended abruptly. I don't know exactly what was said, but someone had called someone a "Jew" and that outraged one of G4's roommates. Things got intense, with her coming out of the bedroom screaming how she was offended that they were using "Jew" in a derogatory way and that if she continued to hear them use the term that way they would need to "get the fuck out of her apartment". I know I didn't hear the whole story, but the parties involved in the confrontation were all drunk, and from my recollection the way he said the term "Jew" was not meant to offend anyone. But alas, things like this happen I guess and I did not want to get involved in that tense environment, so I left with a few friends, one of whom was my freshman year roommate.
My night ended well. After I left G4's apartment I went with my former roommate to hangout at his current room, also nearby my complex. We hung out and played UFC and GTA 5 on his Xbox One, talked about girls, then went to bed at 4:30 AM.
I woke up this morning with a huge stomach ache. Let's just say the spicy wings didn't settle well. I think I had about 15 of them...
Cheers,

MY FIRST POST!
Well as mentioned in my profile introduction, I'm using this blog almost like a diary. I'm here to share my life (anonymously for the most part) and provide advice to anyone that asks for it. Some of my post will be sad, some of them will hopefully be hilarious, but regardless I'm mainly doing this blog stuff for myself. For those who contact me or comment, bear in mind that I'm not the best at responding.
For my next post I plan on bringing you guys up to speed on my life background up until my current life as a sophomore in college.
Wish me luck,
Pawz
